Our objectives

Our objectives

We are determined to make this world a place where children are not disadvantaged and young people are not exploited. In the next five years, we intend to be there for 1 million children and young people. With your support, we will:

  • protect children and young people from harm from birth
  • make children and young people speak out and adults, private and public bodies take action
  • support abused children and young people build back a healthy life
  • make children and young people’s online environment safe
  • prevent child homicide, sexual abuse, violence, neglect, maltreatment, lynching and exploitation
  • campaign and promote children, young and vulnerable people’s welfare, health and development ensuring they grow up in safe and thriving circumstances

We believe in concerted efforts to preventing cruelty and abuse by:

  • Developing individual capabilities, competencies, skills and understanding of children, young persons and persons responsible (parents, carers, teachers)
  • Providing safeguarding training services and life-long learning skills to children, young persons and persons responsible
  • Making regulatory authorities and law work for children’s safety and empowerment
  • Engaging the local and national public and private institutions into safeguarding policy planning and implementation for children and young people
  • Working together with government agencies, public and private institutions
  • Highlighting our strengths as a society and identifying areas of work
  • Introducing and strengthening safeguarding practices
  • Providing counselling
  • Preventing porn, hate and grooming online
